Skill/Typing Test (qualifying only)
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO): 8,000 key depressions per hour (Data entry speed test on computer).
- For Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, LDC, & Court Clerk: Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.

- Tier I is objective, while Tier II focuses on writing skills & typing/data entry ability.
